Who is Michelle Thompson? Nicknames the practically passive professor, Michelle loves to help people and find simpler ways to accomplish things. She loves photography, painting, technology, and curling up with a good book.Michelle was born in Richland, WA, but was raised in Bloomsburg, PA.
Throughout high school, Michelle was very involved in sports: basketball, soccer, and track. After graduating, she attended Bloomsburg University and Valley Forge Christian College, where she earned her BS in Counseling.
A few years later, she went back to school and obtained her MBA in Business and Entrepreneurship. After reading a life changing book, Rich Dad Poor Dad, by Robert Kiyosaki, Michelle became intrigued with the idea of financial independence, business ownership and passive income. In the ten years that have passed since the reading of that book, she has added many other “favorites” to her list such as the 4 Hour Work Week, by Timothy Ferris; Think and Grow Rich, by Napolean Hill; Life is Tremendous, by Charlie Jones; and the Secrets of Success, by Noah St. John.
Michelle currently resides in Mechanicsburg, PA where she is active in her church and volunteers at several local charities. However, her favorite one is Hope International in Lancaster, PA. Established by Peter Greer, Messiah College Graduate, it teaches people in developing countries how to be entrepreneurial by giving them small micro loans. This is also known as boot strapping.
In her down time, you might find Michelle watching a basketball game on TV, working in her yard or garden, attending a live baseball game, or attempting to take a picture of her beautiful but very elusive cardinal.
